Müpa Budapest's new short Christmas film The Gift has arrived.

2021. December 02.

This touching story of a cohesive community, a music-loving elderly woman, a mysterious neighbour, and a warm-hearted little girl is about the unforgettable moments they have lived through together and how art can make our lives more beautiful and complete.

Müpa Budapest started making its first short Christmas film two years ago as a means of thanking its audience for their consistent attention and love throughout the previous year. At the time, of course, no one had any way of knowing that the community-building power of culture would be even more appreciated in the ensuing years, and that it would become more important than ever to share unforgettable moments during both weekdays and holidays. With Mari Nagy, the world-famous cellist István Várdai and Müpa Budapest's fantastic core audience in the leading roles, the short film The Gift puts this thought into a visual format.

Müpa Budapest wishes you a holiday season rich in experiences! #MüpaBudapest
