The state of national emergency requires Müpa Budapest to remain closed throughout the month of April
2020. March 31.
Pursuant to the state of national emergency declared by the Hungarian government and in line with the public health guidelines established in relation to it, Müpa Budapest will remain closed at least until 30 April. During this period, all of Müpa Budapest's planned performances will be cancelled.
The price of all tickets purchased for April performances organised by Müpa Budapest itself will be refunded through this online interface, which was created expressly for this purpose. Detailed information can be accessed below.
Throughout this extraordinary period, Müpa Budapest, as the region's best-known cultural institution, intends to do everything in its power to continue to introduce its audience to the world's most outstanding and thrilling artists each evening. It is precisely for this reason that we have decided to launch the Müpa Home transmission series and unlock our media library for everyone over the weeks to come and – each night at the familiar times: 7 pm, 7.30 pm or 8 pm, depending on genre – open Müpa Budapest's virtual concert hall and auditoriums by providing access to a single unforgettable performance from past years, which we'll transmit on our website, our Facebook page and our YouTube channel.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
