Tickets are going on sale for Budapest's 2022 programmes!

2021. October 29.

We are pleased to inform you that we are about to open up ticket sales for Müpa Budapest's 2022 performances and concerts!

In the second half of the season, in addition to our familiar festivals, Jazz Spring, the Budapest Wagner Days and the Early Music Festival, we will be continuing our popular literary and music series and expanding our offering of exciting contemporary circus and dance performances. Müpacinema, for its part, will present a selection of key films from 120 years of Hungarian cinematic history. New York's Metropolitan Opera will offer yet more unmissable broadcasts, and we'll get a chance to welcome the twenty-time Grammy Award winner Pat Metheny among the series of jazz legends, while the first guests of the Literarium Extra programme for 2022 will be none other than the Greco-Hrutka Tandem. Returning to Budapest as one of the most innovative musicians of his generation will be Jacob Collier, and there will also be a joint concert by Emőke Baráth and Philippe Jaroussky, with the latter taking the conductor's podium this time around, while Joyce DiDonato has a thematic concert she dreamed up together with the Il Pomo d’Oro ensemble in store.

Platinum-level cardholders of the Müpa+ membership programme will be able to make advance ticket purchases for both already announced programmes and new ones starting at 10 am on Tuesday, 2 November 2021. Sales will open for Gold-level cardholders at the same time the following day, Wednesday, 3 November, and for Silver-level members at 10 am on 4 November. Tickets will go on sale to both base-level cardholders of the membership programme and the general public at 10 am on Friday, 5 November.

We hope you enjoy selecting the programmes that interest you and look forward to welcoming you to Müpa Budapest!
