Based on designs by sculptor Gyula Baditz and inspired by the melodies of iconic compositions performed at Müpa Budapest this year, the 23 wooden statuettes were made at the carpenter’s workshop of the charity by the disadvantaged people employed there. What makes these sound sculptures even more special is that they are signed by the world-famous artists the selected musical pieces were rendered by, such as Diana Krall, Marcus Miller, Charlotte Gainsbourg, José Cura, Ádám Fischer and Péter Eötvös.
