'With this series, we try to offer an insight - never experienced before by audiences -into all that does and can happen to a composer when writing a musical piece. How, from an incredibly large number of possibilities, one solution can appear which we might later recognise as the Symphonie fantastique, for example. How a collection of dots and lines from a pencil can become a melody or a composition that accompanies us throughout our lives. We will explore the compelling and stupendously varied world of the inimitable science of instrumentation and the blending together of a range of sounds. We try to establish what brings a melody to life and how the accompaniment weaves an incredibly precise thread of feeling and form. All of this at our leisure and without rushing for a second that moment where music rises up from within.' (Dániel Dinyés)
