The next Musical Dissection event in the series is something truly special for both current and future fans of The Paul Street Boys. Boka and Nemecsek's farewell will be presented alongside the aria from one of the most popular pieces of music in the history of opera, The Magic Flute, with Pamina's 'near death'. Because there are certain moments when you have to liberate your overflowing emotions: an act that musicals have always aided.
The 18th century version of the musical - meaning a theatrical play with written dialogue combined with lots of music - was no less than the Singspiel of Mozart. One of the secrets to the centuries of success of The Magic Flute is that the work is a mix of different genres. Ferenc Molnár's world famous Hungarian story, The Paul Street Boys, which is sensitive without being overly sentimental, fell into the expert hands of the librettist Krisztián Grecsó and lyricist Péter Geszti. One of, if not ...the most memorable scenes, is Nemecsek halála (Nemecsek's Death), which features the main character, Nemecsek, and Boka. József Wunderlich, who will play The Paul Street Boys's Boka, has been a member of The Comedy Theatre of Budapest since 2015, providing outstanding performances in both his musical and spoken roles. Miklós Vecsei H. will play Nemecsek in the performance. The Junior Prima Award-winning artist has been a member of the Comedy Theatre of Budapest since 2015. In addition to his acting work, in recent years he has also excelled as a dramaturg and director. A founding member of the Sztalker Csoport (Stalker Group), he has participated in the creative community's performances and helped bring the POKET project to life, which encourages people to read more.
