The multiple international award-winning, American Blues Music Award nominee, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Little G Weevil returned home to Hungary in 2018 after 15 years in the United States. While he has performed more than 2,000 concerts across his 20-year career, we can now once again enjoy his music and incredible bands here in Hungary. This concert - which also celebrates the release of Weevil's autobiography - will be a genuine rhythm and blues extravaganza, featuring an incredible army of special guests and songs from throughout Weevil's career to date.

Even as a child, Gábor Szűcs, AKA Little G Weevil, was an extremely talented musician. After making the switch from the drums to the guitar, in 1996 he began touring Hungary with his own band at just 19 years of age. After making his first trip abroad as the lead guitarist in Tamás Szabó's band Spo-Dee-O-Dee, he moved to the United States in 2004. He lived initially in Alabama before relocating to Memphis, where he was the first European musician ever to receive a one-year contract at the Blues ...City Cafe in the legendary Beale Street. Weevil captivated America, as demonstrated by his internationally acclaimed albums and numerous awards and nominations (including first prize in the prestigious International Blues Challenge competition and a nomination for the USA Blues Music Award, widely considered the most prestigious blues award in the world). The singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer plays the entire spectrum of Blues music, both acoustically and electrically, solo or in a band, always remaining faithful to tradition. Now, he has told the story of his adventurous life in a book, as well as through his songs. The book also comes with a new CD of Little G Weevil's own compositions. The audience for this concert will be able to enjoy some of the performers from the record. With a total of 18 performers on stage, we can look forward to a red-hot joyful celebration of the blues!
