As in previous years, we have added new surprises to make this Budapest Wagner Days festival a memorable one. One of these is a unique Wagner installation created as part of Müpa Budapest's strategic collaboration with the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and based on the ideas of graphic design student Dániel Dublecz. In colour and shape, the bands connecting the two-metre-tall metallic letters evoke the images from the festival's new award-winning public image campaign, which was created with sound analysis software.

Through the partnership between Müpa Budapest and the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, which provides an exceptional environment and the required technology for education and research in the applied arts, young designers have gained an opportunity to demonstrate their talent. In the spring of 2019, the university offered its graphic design students a course aimed at creating concepts linked to Müpa Budapest's communications and artistic positioning that would inspire visitors to return.

Feel free to take photos and video of the installation, and if you use the #BudapestiWagnerNapok hashtag, you might even get to see your images on Müpa Budapest's online interfaces!

We hope you enjoy yourselves at the Budapest Wagner Days!
