Müpa Budapest has revamped its programme for introducing the building to visitors. Walking tours called Hall to Hall are organized usually twice a week. Guests will hear facts and trivia from our colleagues on Müpa Budapest’s history, architectural concept, programmes as well as the ensembles in residence (the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Dance Theatre). Visitors will also learn about the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall’s features, how its unique acoustics work, and also the one of a kind technical solutions used at the Festival Theatre. As part of the tour, our guests will have the chance to wonder at the Budapest skyline from the special perspective the Panorama Patio offers.
As part of our tour service, Hall to Hall, the option for a Virtual Reality (VR) tour is available as well – this is included in the price of the ticket. The tour takes approximately 60 minutes, while the VR tour takes an additional 40-45 minutes.
To make use of this option, prior registration is required and the maximum number of participants for the programme is 20. VR equipment and expert assistance are provided by Müpa Budapest.
The tickets purchased include more than just the guided tour: our guests can use them to view the Ludwig Museum’s permanent exhibit before the tour free of charge, and enjoy lunch at a reduced price after the programme at the P'Art Café and Bistro.
Groups and individual visitors can purchase their tickets for the Hall to Hall programme on site after advance registration. Registrations will only be valid together with their confirmation.
If you wish to cancel, please contact our staff at least 72 hours before the event!
