Marie Antoinette, Elisabeth of Austria, Scarlett O'Hara - these enchanting women, who are also the heroines of popular musicals, will come to life in the Budapest Operetta Theatre's grand show. The audience will also get to hear excerpts from the musicals Fame, Mozart!, Romeo and Juliet, Abigail and Notre Dame de Paris, as well as from its newest production: Lady Budapest. Set during the period of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, it relates the exciting story of a love triangle between an English ...countess, a wounded Hungarian revolutionary and a Russian major. The evening's programme pays homage to both feminine beauty and love.
