On December 5, 2011, the Dohnányi Orchestra Budafok will give a very special concert at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall of the Palace of Arts. The concert organised by Klasszik Rádió will feature a premium selection of the best movie scores of cinema history, from A Tenkes kapitánya (Captain of the Tenkes) through Star Wars and The Pirates of the Caribbean to Valami Amerika (A Kind of America). The December concert will also feature special guests: Vera Tóth will be performing theme songs of The Lion King and Shrek, while André Vásáry will be singing the well-known theme of Once Upon a Time in the West, with both singers accompanied by the Dohnányi Orchestra Budafok as conducted by Gábor Hollerung. To make Cinemusic an even more unique event, the short movies and live videos produced for the songs will also be shown in order to demonstrate the relationship of music and film.
