Gyöngyi Lukács– opera gala evening Conductor: Gergely Kesselyák World famous Kossuth Prize winning soprano Gyöngyi Lukács completed her studies in Moscow and made her debut at the Hungarian State Opera House when she was twenty. Since then she has sung in Berlin, Vienna, New York Metropolitan Opera, Hamburg, Cologne, La Scala Milan, Salzburg and the Edinburgh Festival, with partners such as Plácido Domingo, Samuel Ramey and José Cura. Tonight, this evening is all her own and she presents ...to us the music she most loves and invites partners with whom she is happiest singing. Gergely Kesselyák is one of the most energetic Hungarian conductors as well as one with the greatest experience and knowledge in opera conducting.
