I:104 Mozart: Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622 Brahms: Symphony no. 3 in F major, op. 90 In the year of his death, Mozart composed one of the most beautiful pieces in the whole concerto repertoire. This evening, the soloist will be the 36 year old Jörg Widmann who is successful as both clarinettist and composer. After studies at the Munich Music College, he attended the New York Ju...illiard School. As a soloist he has worked with conductors such as Christoph von Dohnányi, Sylvain Cambreling and Kent Nagano and many composers have written for him.
