Music: W. A. Mozart Sets: Khell Zsolt Costumes: Krisztina Berzsenyi Lighting: József Petô Film: Erik Novák Director-Choreographer: Yvette Bozsik The German music heard in this performance was released by Vox Artis. Special thanks to György Gyôriványi Ráth, István Matók and Ádám Horváth. A joint production by the National Dance Theatre and the Yvette Bozsik Company. In the last year of his life Mozart composed a miraculous musical fairy story: The Magic Flute which presents the battle ...of profundity, darkness and evil powers with the ideals of beauty, charity and wisdom. The choreography depicts this opera in the language of dance, retaining its key episodes. The dance piece is therefore a modern stage setting and by fusing expressionism with contemporary dance style, displays the opera’s story, its playfulness, depth and mystery. Further performances: Festival Theatre, April 8., June 8. (19.00)
