Having completed movement and sound exercises, the musicans play their instruments, giving the audience and would-be conductors in attendance an idea of the sounds that can be used. In the second part, everyone can try out the instruments and ask questions about the sounds they make. This is when they put themselves forward to play. The third part belongs to the conductors: Having chosen the instruments to be used, the volunteer conductors can prompt the musicians to play their instruments... with no prior instructions and nothing but movements, body language, facial expressions and gestures to produce short, improvised compositions. No talking aloud!
