Chiming for Children
12 December 2015 Saturday
10 January 2016 Sunday
Ludwig Terrace

Christmas is upon us – so it’s time for our special festive installation once again. Following our tradition we started with our “Sleigh Tree” and the “Müpa Ice Rink” in the previous years, this time we will hang hundreds of little bells on the Danube-side terrace of the building and let the wind be both the composer and musician for a special Christmas chime piece! We provided the younger generations of our audience with a lot of entertaining experiences in our family and youth programmes throughout the years; now we would like to use this event we jointly organised with UNICEF, to help the children in need have a really Merry Christmas, just like everyone else. Now the visitors of Müpa Budapest can contribute to bringing smiles and laughter on those little children’s faces: a donation of HUF 500 per piece for a UNICEF bell that symbolises the happy laughter of children provides one malnourished child with meal for one day.

Our partner in the preparation of the installation is Bio Textima Hálószoba Manufaktúra.
