The exceptionally versatile singer-songwriter Boglárka Csemer, also known as Boggie, has brought together a group of young musicians to create a true dream team of Hungarian pop music talent. Their concerts contain so much energy, you feel like the songs aren't merely being performed in front of you but are speaking directly to you with a special magic that can only come from live music. The songs contain lyrics in several different languages and feature a bold mix of styles, including pop..., jazz and French chanson, with a sprinkling of classical and world music thrown in for good measure. Most of the songs tell personal stories as social critiques, holding a mirror to us all while also remaining utterly captivating. In Boglárka Csemer's voice you will discover a delicate femininity, childlike playfulness and also the confident woman that has emerged across the years.
Her Boggie project was brought to life in 2013 by a strong desire to extend her career beyond Hungary. Her idea went big: in 2014 her music video Nouveau Parfum swept the globe. Since then, her band has performed in numerous European cities, been invited to appear at a range of international music festivals and also played in the USA. She was the winner of the television competition DAL in 2015 and represented Hungary in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.
Becoming a mother gave the singer a new source of inspiration, and she released her third full-length album 3 in 2016. In 2018, she took the new album to one of the world's premier music showcase festivals, SXSW in Texas.
