Compact Disco have kept up their momentum since appearing at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012. Their album The Storm testifies to a mature musical vision, greeting their enthusiastic fans both at home and abroad with a series of up-tempo hit tunes. In autumn 2013, the boys were joined by guitarist Kriszta Lahucsky, who has been a permanent guest member ever since, so the band now plays its concerts with two female musicians, the other being drummer Emese Török.
The band's new set mixes... disco and electro, and is both a concert and a party rolled into one. The sounds will naturally be revamped for this gig at the Müpa, offering the audience a performance which, as well as featuring rearranged songs, will place a greater emphasis on an acoustic, pared-down musical approach. The band reworked their early songs in a similar manner in April 2010, but the Compact Disco repertoire has since grown to include a huge number of hits ripe for exciting new arrangements. Marking their first appearance on the Müpa stage, the band will work hard to reach the highest standards of the genre, while thoroughly surprising the audience with a host of musical friends, duets and astounding musical energy.
