János Bródy was one of the first performers to have a hugely successful concert at the Palace of Arts in 2005, although it was certainly not at the Palace of Arts where he had his first performances. Several decades have passed since the latter and the time has come now again for us to hear the well-known old tunes and some recent songs of the Master, several of which are to have their premiere now, with a restrained acoustic instrumentation in this superb concert hall. János Bródy is not famous... for a voice shattering walls anyway; it is rather his wisdom of life captured in ironic and emotional songs and the special power of his personality that make him attractive at his unique and unrepeatable stage performances. Composer of the legendary songs of the 60’s and lyricist of the rock opera “Stephen, the King”, Bródy continues to represent eternal values also in his sixties, even for those who will hear him in concert for the first and hopefully not the last time now. (Audio and video recording are prohibited in the concert hall).
