The Baltazár Theatre has functioned since 1998. In creating each theatre piece, the members of the theatre - who are mentally challenged actors and actresses - have always written down their thoughts, sometimes in verse. It was on this basis that the Song Workshop came into being, where the actors learned to write verse and think in song lyrics. At the workshops run by PéterSziámi Müller, who also works at the theatre as an actor, song lyrics were created from the ideas and verse of the theatre ...members, which were then set to music by leading Hungarian composers and performers. It is from these sessions that an album is currently being put together containing 20 songs. The title song, Árad a szeretet (Spread the Love), is the last composition by LászlóBódi (Cipő), who passed away last year. At this staged concert première of the album, the guest artists will contribute to the production of the Baltazár Theatre by performing some of their own new songs.
