Ticket sales have begun for the first programmes of the 2023/24 season

2023. April 19.

In the autumn and winter months of the 2023/24 season, the audience will get the chance to welcome many international stars back to Müpa Budapest, with tickets for the new season’s productions available under a more flexible system replacing the familiar season tickets.

Guests returning to Müpa Budapest in the first half of the 2023/24 season include Joshua Bell, Alan Gilbert and the NDR Elbphilharmonie, the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Víkingur Ólafsson, the King’s Singers, the Wiener Sängerknaben, Elvis Costello, Cory Henry and Ludovico Einaudi. A focus of special attention will be the oeuvre of György Orbán, the newly selected Composer of the Season, and the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble, the ensemble of the season, is preparing two exciting premières as well.

We will also continue Müpa Budapest’s popular literary programmes, the Literarium events and Poetry Recitals, with the Müpa Film Club beginning a new chapter as well. Also returning along with our extremely popular dance and contemporary circus productions and Metropolitan Opera broadcasts is the Rising Stars series showcasing Europe’s most promising young musicians.

In keeping with the institution’s traditions, members of the Müpa+ membership programme are the first to get the opportunity to pre-purchase tickets. Platinum-level members will be able to pre-purchase tickets for the announced programmes starting from 10 am on 19 April, with gold-level members joining in at the same time on Thursday the 20th, followed by silver-level members later that same day at 2 pm. Sales will open to basic-level members and the general public at 10 am on Friday, 21 April.
