Bartók Spring countrywide organised by Müpa Budapest: exceptional programme in Miskolc, Győr and Debrecen

Ramón Vargas and the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, Arturo Sandoval, Maxim Vengerov and the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra, BANDALOOP, Igudesman & Joo, Sergey Krilov and the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra Debrecen, the Győr Ballet, the Szeged Contemporary Ballet, the Pécs Ballet and the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble, and the Ritmo Picnic will feature Sena, the Bohemian Betyars, Los Orangutanes, Mónika Lakatos and Romengo, among others, Julcsi Paár, MORDÁI, Mihály Dresch Ballance Trio, Napfonat and Odd ID - from 21 April, the Bartók Spring International Art Weeks organised by Müpa Budapest will continue with more and more exciting concerts and performances, the American pioneers of vertical dance on the walls, free world music events and a lively festival atmosphere all over the country.

No more masks at Müpa Budapest

We wish to inform you that, in accordance with the current legal regulations, the wearing of masks is not longer mandatory in the Müpa Budapest building as of 7 March 2022. We leave it at the discretion of our guests to decide whether they feel comfortable wearing or not wearing a mask. It is not necessary to show an immunity certificate to attend our performances.

We wish to inform visitors to the Müpa Budapest website and those purchasing tickets via our online interface that our partner, SimplePay has notified us that due to system development work, their online card acceptance service will be suspended from 23:15 on Friday 4 March 2022 until 04:45 on Saturday 5 March 2022.

We regret to inform you that Jacob Collier has been forced to postpone his European tour showcasing his latest album, Djesse. His Hungarian concert, originally scheduled for 2 February, will therefore take place at a later date.

Changes in the line-up for Charles Lloyd's concert for 12 January

We regret to inform you that, due to illness, cimbalist Miklós Lukács  will be unable to participate in the world-famous saxophonist Charles Lloyd's Wild Man Dance concert on 12 January. In addition, Kendrick Scott will be replaced on drums by Greg Hutchinson, one of the outstanding talents of his generation.
